Challenge

MEDEX Global Group is a recognized leader in emergency travel assistance and international medical insurance. The company provides travel preparation and emergency assistance services to millions of members and hundreds of global organizations, including multinational corporations, colleges and universities, and international organizations. MEDEX offers customized global travel solutions from pre-travel intelligence and contingency planning to 24-hour emergency medical and security assistance, as well as evacuation and repatriation programs.

MEDEX had a dream for an International Medical Content Portal for their clients that would link them to MEDEX services and information Worldwide. The portal needed to be able to handle constantly changing variables for travel, health and security concerns, being mission critical in its ability to manage client health concerns and deliver the correct information quickly in cases of emergency. The project entailed the selection of an existing content management tool or the development on a custom tool to facilitate the storage and publication of country specific medical data as well as the development of an ASP.Net/C# website used to dynamically display this content.

Purpose of the Build:

MEDEX engaged Twin Technologies to build, test and deliver a mission-critical client portal within 6 months start to finish. Twin Techs delivered on time and on budget, and in the process, surpassed expectations and helped end users access life-critical data faster than ever before.
