Twin Technologies Web Application for Paragon Lake Accelerates Product Development, Improves Customer Loyalty, and Reduces Risk

Paragon Lake realized that jewelry merchandisers needed an engaging tool to showcase their jewelry, suggest modifications, and show customers what final products would look like. As a startup, Paragon Lake needed to build and launch this core business application quickly to avoid losing the time-to-market advantage and start driving revenue.

Result

Paragon Lake engaged Twin Technologies, and within four months had built and launched the Virtual Display Case (VDC). The VDC was built with interfaces for both jewelry retailers and Paragon Lake engineers - integrating them within the existing enterprise systems which include both content and order management systems.

Creating Flexible Financial Services

Paragon Lake's VDC platform offers retailers a unique tool to create made-to-order fine jewelry. Historically, retailers have been limited by paper catalogs and the artist availability to create custom jewelry. Paragon Lake wanted to enable retailers to provide their customers with a greater inventory of choices, and a sophisticated tool to showcase customization options. The result would be lower manufacturing costs, higher revenues, fewer lost sales, and greater client loyalty.

As a startup, Paragon Lake lacked the engineering team to create both a front-end user interface for the retailer, as well as a back office interface for its own staff. Integrating both interfaces with existing content management and order management systems was a complex challenge in creating a solution. Building and then scaling their initial solution with minimal risks and within set startup budgets was the barrer to entry Paragon Lake and all startups face.
